Hearing live the 1988 ex-Stuart Gordon violin

Had the pleasure last Tuesday lunch time to leave the workshop for few hours, so I could walk to the Victoria Rooms and listen to a University of Bristol Music (end of) degree performance. On that occasion Joshua Hargreaves playing Ravel’s Violin Sonata N°2 used as a tool a violin I made in 1988 (the ex-Stuart Gordon, photo of that instrument in the Strad September 1988.). Joshua chose to start the movement Blues holding the violin as a guitar. It was so nice to hear this violin alive again.
